Scholarship Description:
The University of Central Florida is pleased to offer ten $2,400 in-state scholarships and five $6,800 out-of-state scholarships for FIRST Robotics participants. The scholarships are available to students who have participated in one full season in a regional or national U.S. FIRST competition and who have applied and been admitted to UCF. Scholarships are renewable for four years, provided students maintain full time enrollment, a 3.0 cumulative UCF GPA, and continue in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline.

• Students must have participated in at least one full season in a regional or national FIRST Robotics (FRC) competition.
• Students must have applied and been admitted to the University of Central Florida for the summer or fall semester.
• Students must have declared an Engineering or Computer Science major.
• Student must be a U. S. Citizen or permanent resident.

• Eligible students must have completed the UCF application for admission.

• Students must submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form by June 1 preceding the fall semester entering college.

• Students must submit an application and supporting documents (resume and 500 word essay) for the Robotics scholarship.

• The scholarship application and supporting documents must be submitted no later than January 30th.

Scholarship Selection and Notification:
Scholarship recipients will be selected based on a comprehensive review of their UCF application for admission and the Robotics Scholarship application. Factors reviewed include academic accomplishments, participation and leadership in clubs and organizations, and your FIRST Robotics experience essay.
