Team Thank You

To the 53 teams from 11 states and Puerto Rico who participated in the 2010 FIRST Florida Regional, thank you for coming and for providing an exciting competition for everyone! We enjoyed hosting you again at the University of Central Florida March 11-13, 2010. It was gratifying to see so many teams return, as well as having the many teams who were with us for the first time. It was particularly nice to have 5 rookie teams join us.

The competition was thrilling and team members displayed many acts of Gracious Professionalism—Dean Kamen and Woodie Flowers would be proud of all of you, as were all of us who were in attendance. The judges had a tough time deciding on awards since there were so many excellent candidates for each one. It’s never easy for the judges to make their decisions and this year was no exception. For those of you who will be going on to the Championship in Atlanta, we wish you the best of luck in the “Super Bowl of Smarts.” Award winners are posted below.

On behalf of the Planning Committee, the judges and all of the other volunteers who work to make this Regional happen each year, we hope to see you back in Orlando next year for the 2011 Florida Regional!
